Terms and Conditions

Clear, simple terms for hiring our bouncy castles, soft play and party packages. Read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking you agree to follow these rules. โš ๏ธ


Upstairs Venue & Weight

Our bouncy castles and soft play units weigh approximately 85kg. If you have booked an upstairs venue, the venue must have a working lift for our use. If no lift is available, we cannot set up. This is for the safety of our staff and to comply with insurance requirements. ๐Ÿšซ


Payment Terms & Deposits

  • Deposit secures your booking.
  • Remaining balance is due on delivery in cash, or via our text/email payment service sent on the day. ๐Ÿ’ณ
  • For private bookings, if the final bill is not paid on the day, an additional charge of £10 per day will be added until the invoice is paid.
  • We hold card information securely on file. Your card will only be charged for damage, cleaning, or if you cancel within 7 days of the hire date.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations within 7 days of hire: 50% of the total hire charge.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of hire: 100% of the total hire charge.
  • If wet weather forces cancellation (at our discretion), deposits can be transferred to another date within 12 months of the original hire date. โ˜”๏ธ
  • If you cancel on the day due to wet weather, you must call at least 1 hour before the hire start time on 07459059006.
  • Cancellations within the above timeframes will include forfeiture of any deposit paid.

Bad Weather & Outdoor Hires

We may cancel outdoor bookings in heavy rain or high winds for safety. Inflatables must not be used in wind speeds of 24mph or more. If we cancel for safety reasons, payments received may be held as credit for a future booking. โ˜”๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ


Safety Rules & Hirer Responsibilities

The hirer is responsible for preventing injury or damage. Follow all safety rules. A responsible adult (18+) must supervise at all times.

  • Check space and ceiling height before booking. All sizes are listed on each inflatable description. If the unit will not fit on delivery, you will still be charged the full hire fee.
  • No adults on children’s castles. Age limits are shown. ๐Ÿšซ
  • No food, drinks, chewing gum, party poppers, streamers or silly string on the inflatable.
  • Remove shoes, glasses, jewellery and sharp objects before use. Socks recommended.
  • No smoking, barbeques or fires within 20 metres.
  • No climbing, hanging or sitting on walls. Do not bounce on the front safety step.
  • No pets or toys on the inflatable. No somersaults or back flips.
  • Keep a 2 metre (6 foot) clearance around the unit.
  • Do not use the inflatable while it is inflating or deflating. If the blower stops, all users must exit immediately and you must call us.

Damage, Cleaning & Charges

  • Any loss or damage will be charged to the hirer for repair or replacement, plus associated costs and loss of hire.
  • Dirty returns will incur a cleaning charge from £50 depending on the unit. ๐Ÿงผ
  • We will notify you before taking any charges from the card on file.

Mobile Disco & Party Package T&Cs

  • Ensure adequate space: mobile disco requires ~4ft width and 6ft height. Allow 4–6ft clearance around inflatables for safety.
  • Face painter requires a table and clear access. Please advise of allergies or medical conditions in advance.
  • Keep hallways and entrances clear for safe setup. ๐ŸŽจ

Data, Payments & No Business Hires

We use Square to store card details securely. Stored cards allow us to collect final balances and any charges for damage or cleaning. You will be notified before any charge is taken. ๐Ÿ”’

We do not hire equipment to other businesses offering bounce castle or entertainment services (note we have block some businesses we not name them .

Please inform us if you book through a business intermediary. โ—๏ธ


Agreement

By booking our equipment you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You will be required to sign a paper copy on delivery. Many thanks from Bounce Craze. ๐ŸŽ‰

  1. A responsible person over 18 years of age must supervise each inflatable at all times. This includes soft plays and/or other equipment which has been hired.
  2. It is the responsibility of the hirer to check the required space for their chosen inflatable and ensure that there is enough space provided. This includes the ceiling height to the lowest part for indoor bookings. All required spaces are stated on the inflatable description on the website. If the inflatable does not fit in the space provided on delivery the hirer will still be charged the total outstanding amount of the hire. Bounce Craze cannot be held responsible if the inflatable does not fit in the space provided.
  3. The inflatable(s) must be secured to the ground at all times. The equipment must not be moved or re-positioned.
  4. Ensure that mats supplied with the equipment remain where they were positioned during installation.
  5. Ensure that the equipment is not overcrowded and limit the number of users depending on the age and size of children according to the recommendations printed on the equipment (on or near the front step of most inflatables).
  6. Reckless or boisterous behaviour must not be allowed.
  7. Avoid large children and small children from using the equipment at the same time.
  8. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls of the inflatable is dangerous and must not be allowed.
  9. Slides must be used one at a time, in a sitting position with feet first. Users must not climb on the sides of the slide or jump from the top of the slide.
  10. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron of the inflatable(s). The step is there to help users get on and off.
  11. No-one with a history of back or neck problems should be allowed on the inflatable(s).
  12. Do not allow users on the inflatable(s) during inflation or deflation.
  13. No food, drinks or chewing gum are to be consumed on the inflatable (to avoid choking and mess).
  14. All shoes, badges, and jewellery (e.g., large earrings, necklaces, etc.) must be removed to avoid damage to the equipment and injury to other users. It is recommended that spectacles and plastic alice bands are also removed. High-heeled shoes must be removed before stepping on mats.
  15. Do not take any hard or sharp objects onto the equipment, or anything large enough to block exits/entrances.
  16. No smoking, barbecues, glass, or animals on or near the equipment.
  17. Do not take balloons onto the equipment (burst balloons and strings can be a choking hazard).
  18. No party-poppers, henna, face paint, coloured streamers or “silly string” can be used near or on the equipment, as these may permanently stain the unit, for which you are liable.
  19. No water or other liquid to be poured or sprayed onto the equipment (other than a reasonable amount for cleaning purposes) as it causes the surface of inflatables to become slippery, damages soft play, and can result in subsequent bookings being cancelled if the equipment is too wet to be delivered. If equipment is deliberately soaked, you will be charged double your hire fee to cover our costs in subsequent cancelled bookings and drying time.
  20. Inflatables must not be used in wind or wind gusts in excess of 24mph. Inflatables must not be used in heavy rain. Equipment must not be used in thunderstorms.
  21. In the event of rain please remove users from the inflatable(s) and place a table or similar object over the blower(s) to prevent water from being blown inside the inflatable(s). Do not switch the blower(s) off. Once the rain has stopped, please ensure that the entrance and exit to the inflatable(s) are dried with a towel before users are allowed back on as they become slippery when wet.
  22. Depending on the severity of the conditions, Bounce Craze will make a decision as to whether your outdoor booking needs to be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or high winds. If your booking is cancelled, all payments already received may be used as a credit for a future booking within 12 months.
  23. If the inflatable(s) are not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower(s) off at the mains.
  24. Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times. Should a blower overheat or lose power, immediately remove users from the inflatable and switch the blower off at the mains. It should restart when switched back on again 1 or 2 minutes later. If it does not, please inform us on the telephone number provided on the website.
  25. You must call us immediately upon any equipment failure. If you are unsure about anything, please contact us immediately.
  26. We accept no responsibility for any pipes or cables underneath ground level from hammering our outdoor anchor stakes in. We are hired by the customer to carry out our hire and all inspections are to be done by the customer prior to booking with us. Our ground stakes are 380mm and hammered in at a 45-degree angle.
  27. No cables can be run over roads during a hire.
  28. For health and safety reasons, we cannot carry inflatables up staircases or over walls/fences when delivering.
  29. All overnight hires must be in a secure garden. The customer will be liable for any theft of inflatables or equipment.
  30. The person hiring the inflatable is responsible/liable for any damage or injury which occurs as a result of misuse of the inflatable. Bounce Craze cannot accept responsibility for any injury.
  31. All users of the inflatables do so at their own risk.
  32. Bounce Craze use a securely encrypted payment system, ‘Square’, which stores customers card details on file. By agreeing to the terms and conditions the hirer is giving Bounce Craze permission to take payment for any damages caused to equipment or inflatables as well as any remaining balances if a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the date the booking will take place.
