Can I hire a bouncy castle with a slide instead?

Yes. A dedicated inflatable slide and a bouncy castle with a slide provide quite different setups. If you want children to have both a bouncing area and a smaller slide within one inflatable, a bounce and slide design may be the more appropriate choice.

What surface and space does an inflatable slide need?

The installation area needs to be suitable for the particular inflatable and allow it to be secured correctly. For outdoor hires, Bounce Craze's standard policy is that inflatables are not installed on outdoor hard standing. Indoor hard-standing installations may be possible where the venue and equipment are suitable.

Because each inflatable has its own dimensions and requirements, check the individual item information rather than estimating from photographs. Access to the setup location also needs to be sufficient for our team to bring the equipment safely into position.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

Outdoor inflatable hire is weather dependent. Bounce Craze does not operate outdoor inflatables where wind speeds exceed the permitted safety limit, and severe rain or thunderstorms can also affect whether a booking can proceed safely.

How is the Mega Slide set up?

You don't need to install the inflatable yourself. Our team delivers the equipment, positions and anchors it appropriately, completes the necessary checks and provides the relevant safety information before use. We then return to dismantle and collect it at the arranged time.

Bounce Craze equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly. Applicable inflatables are PIPA tested annually, electrical equipment is PAT tested annually, and the business carries Public Liability Insurance up to £1 million.

Can I add other equipment to a Mega Slide booking?

Yes. For a larger event, you can build your booking around several different activities rather than relying on one inflatable. Inflatable Games can add further activities, while Fun Food equipment provides options such as popcorn and candy floss.
